Who we are
SEO Dons Ltd operates this website (solarpanelsforagriculture.co.uk). For the purposes of UK GDPR, we are the data controller. You can contact us via our contact form or by post at 71-75 Shelton Street, London, WC2H 9JQ.
What information we collect
- Information you provide: name, email, phone, postcode, and details about your premises when you complete a quote or contact form.
- Automatic information: browser type, approximate location and pages visited, collected by Google Analytics 4 to measure how the site is used.
- Cookies: Google Analytics 4 sets analytics cookies to measure visits. We do not use advertising or marketing cookies.
How we use your information
- To pass your enquiry to an installer covering your area, who will respond with a quotation.
- To follow up if your initial enquiry doesn't progress immediately.
- To improve this site (aggregated analytics only).
- To comply with legal obligations.
Lawful basis for processing
We rely on (a) legitimate interests when responding to your enquiry, and (b) consent when you opt in to ongoing communication. You can withdraw consent at any time.
How long we keep your data
Quote enquiries are retained for 24 months. After that, we delete or anonymise. Where your enquiry is passed to an installer covering your area, that installer holds its own copy under its own privacy policy and retention period.
Who we share your data with
- Form submissions are processed by Formspree (USA) under their privacy policy.
- When you send a quote request, we pass your enquiry details to an installer covering your area so they can contact you; that installer handles your data under its own privacy notice.
- Apart from the installer your enquiry is passed to and the service providers that run this site, such as our form handler, we share your details only where the law requires it.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access your data, correct it, erase it, restrict processing, port it, and object to processing. Use our contact form to exercise any of these rights. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Security
We apply industry-standard security measures: TLS for all data in transit, encrypted at rest where applicable, restricted access to authorised personnel only.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy occasionally. The date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Material changes will be communicated to subscribers directly.
